About Me

Before you contact me, please take time to read my profile and the tips below!

1) If you write me a personalized request it is much more likely that I reply you and more fun for me :)

2) I am NOT living in Stockholm, Uppsala is nicer anywyay :D

3) If you request comes more than 3 weeks in advance it's impossibly to tell you right away if I can host you.

-----

I'm a 25 year old Immunologist from Germany working currently on bacteria-immune interactions after finishing my master in Uppsala. And I am kind of talkative :) Last point is probably the most characteristic one, haha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A good friend of mine is a very active host. Due to him I had the opportunity to meet a lot of couchsurfers from all over the world what left me fascinated.

Since I surfed the first time I learned how great it can be to have a local in an unknown city and be treated like a friend. In July 2017 I did a summer trip through France and neighbours and it became one of the best experiences of my life.

Interests

I love science and human progress. I believe we can make the world a bit better. Last year I started with others the association Zero Waste Uppsala and we are organizing quite many events nowadays,

I enjoy things like spending nights with a few friends in a warm room when it is cold outside, singing and exchange stories. I favor getting lost in new places, meeting new people and leaving comfort zones. I like tea, reading books in cafés, campfires, animes, skyping, history, really bad jokes, languages, crowded punk concerts in tiny rooms, eating fast, classic concerts in old buildings and churches, and the smell when you enter a place that is connected with good memories.

My plans so far getting a PhD position, becoming a bit more mindful and finding a better vegan chocolate crème alternative than bananas and dates.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste of music is quite divers, I listen to rock, punk, metal, reggae but also a lot more. Beirut is a clear favorite. I love the Alfar and Dwarfs series of Markus Heitz and all the books written by Sebastian Fitzek. However I love reading random books I get on second hand shops, from other people or discover during my travels.
