COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very little so far. I've met and befriended some surfers who stayed at my Co-op.

Interests

I'm a student from Northern California who loves cuddles, vegetarian and vegan food, cooperative living, tie-die (which I'm wearing presently), puppies, exercise, the Great Outdoors, literature, and—most importantly—poetry! Right now I am finishing my Bachelor's and beginning my Master's in English Literature.

Cute animal videos are irresistible. I'd love to swap a few.

At home in a vegetarian co-op called Ithaka, I value communities based on shared efforts in cooking, cleaning, sharing—living. Sustainability and organic food are also important to me, interests which compliment (and have grown out of) my life as a co-oper. The self-motivated, idiosyncratic and wildly creative people I have met through these communities have inspired and influenced me perhaps more than anyone I've ever known, so if you are interested in alternative lifestyles, let's talk!

Finished the Collected Works of James Merrill. Worked on Varaison Vineyards and Winery, LLC in Palisade, CO, where I raised a baby sparrow and watched her fly away.
