ABOUT ME

I'm a teacher and coach in a high school. I enjoy spending time with friends doing activities outdoors (I.e. camping, hiking, kayaking, etc.) I like to ride my bicycle for fun.

Interests

I really enjoy hiking whether it be in nature or in an urban setting. Traveling gives me a chance to meet new people and see new places. I enjoy conversations about culture and the world. I've recently enjoyed the experience of being a new dog owner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once gave a speech to a room full of university professors at an education conference I was invited to in Moscow. I didn't have a powerpoint or handouts, and just spoke off the cuff for a half an hour. It was definitely a highpoint!
I have participated in the Ride for Roswell for 7 years, raising tens of thousands of dollars for a local hospital whose mission is to treat cancer patients and find a cure for cancer and cancer related illnesses.
