ABOUT ME
I am a 21 year old Veterinary Student from Lancaster, NW England. I'm an active individual and enjoy being outdoors, exploring new cities and countries and hanging out in coffee shops and bars. Most of the year I'm studying at the Royal Veterinary College, London (England); at the weekends I play lacrosse for my local team. I love meeting new people and am always up for a spontaneous adventure: meeting people from across the world always interests me as I enjoy learning about new cultures and the differences and similarities we share.
All in all, I'm easy going and friendly!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This summer I've been working at Camp Greylock for boys in MA. I had an amazing eight weeks coaching sports and adventure. I bunked with thirteen eight-year-old boys and I've learnt a great deal about working with children - hopefully I've taught them something too!
Last summer I worked on a friend's horse ranch in Paris, Texas. This was my biggest adventure on my own; I saved up for two years to pay for flights. I had a fantastic time working on the ranch and met a huge range of different people, all of whom were very welcoming. This was my first trip to the United States and I loved it.
Summer 2009 I spent a week running a camp for underprivileged children in Romania. My team and I fundraised all year to provided equipment and food for 100 children from ages 6months to 17years. This was a challenging experience as many of the children had ailments that would have been fixed under the healthcare system of my country; other children were underprivileged in regard to education and many were destined to remain in their village with no source of income. It was definitely one of the most valuable experiences I've ever had.
