ABOUT ME
So many people go through life living from one moment to the next, passing through, their experiences just a result of the world around them, their lives simply a reflection of their situations.
Why go to a concert and stand in the back? I want to be in the front, in the jumping, screaming masses, sweating, living, engulfed in the experience.
Why go out for a couple of drinks when you can stay out all night? I want to hit five bars, get drunk with my good friends, and make some great - if hazy - memories.
Im a fiercely loyal friend and I value stability in my life. I am adventurous, limited edition, and a bon viveur.
Life is too short for anything else.
I love to travel, meet new people, and share and enjoy my life while I have it!
Normally I'm called "Chris", but in Spanish I prefer Cristofer.
PHILOSOPHY
Some recent fortune cookies:
Your talents will be recognized and suitably rewarded.
What's vice today may be virtue tomorrow.
The strangest, most generous, and proudest of all virtues is true courage.
... in bed.
I find myself identifying more and more with Taoist philosophy, although I can't stand reading that bore Chuang Tzu, I definitely prefer Lao Tzu.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I'm couchless, which is to say that I'm roaming the earth untethered with nothing but my time and energy to offer... hopefully this will change soon!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Still very new to CS. I've met many CSers in my travels, all wonderful people, and I'm excited to get more involved.
Interests
I love learning about a city, a culture, a people. I'm not one to visit this monument, that monument - I really enjoy living a typical (if exciting) life for a few days in a different country.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love most kinds of music, including much of Latin America's unique blends.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done one of the highest bunjee-jumps in the world (710ft/216m) on Christmas morning - after almost getting carjacked in Johannesburg the night before, and before playing with baby elephants.
I intentionally cut Wolfe Blitzer in line, and accidentally insulted Tila Tequila at a party at the Playboy Mansion.
I've eaten DELICIOUS grubs out of a nut in the Brazilian rainforest. They tasted like avocado, but a little more nutty.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to cook more with people, and learn recipes from different cultures, countries, families.
I can share what meager talents I have in photography - if you're interested I could give you a few quick lessons on how to find good pictures, how to use SLR cameras, etc.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Laos, Malaysia, Mozambique, Panama, Peru, Portugal, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
Singapore, United States
