About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to balance all the great loves in my life; music, running, traveling, backpacking and hanging out with friends.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in a surban town about 45 minutes outside of San Francisco before moving to Oregon for college. Shortly after school I moved out to the Boston area for an internship with foreign policy think tank in 2005. I ended up staying in the area for a while after my internship ended and working as an assistant manager at one of the bigger book stores in the area. I landed a year long AmeriCorps position in southeast Arizona in 2006. I worked as a park ranger dealing with projects concerning the environmental effects of illegal immigration in the area and ended up extending my position for another year. Last summer I moved back in with my parents and went back to school in August to get a certificate in this mapping software called GIS that I had started to teach myself in Arizona. After finished the certificate I took a little over three months to travel through Mexico and Central America. I recently returned to California and am starting to look for work again but hope to mix things up with a little traveling every now and then as well.
