Currently, I live in Louisiana 90 miles from New Orleans and 60 from Lafayette. My beautiful wife Maru is from Mexico, a suburb of Mexico City that is in the State of Mexico. We have 3 daughters aged 3, 4, and 5.

O have not yet couch surfed through this site. I am a recurring donor now, as I believe in this idea.

Interests

I love making it to the top of a mountain or strolling along a river, getting ahold of a book that tells me a magical tale or makes me ponder the greater questions, experiencing new cultures and seeing new places, sitting down with a stranger or an old friend and sharing our thoughts and experiences, making a delicious crawfish étouffée or bisteka huaraches and sharing joy with people, viewing majestic vistas and capturing them with a lens, savoring a cigar as I sip a Scotch and listen to some folk music...

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music: I've gone off to sea once more with Jerry and David, and lost myself in Byrd's 5 angelic voices. I like to run for the roses with Dan, and feel the natural mystic flowing through the air with Bob.

Favorite Movies: Playing Russian roulette with Walken, or daring to help the Allies and Jews with Peck.

Favorite books: I have traveled the realm with Drizzt and Companions, and experienced the letters of a condemned Ignatius of Antioch. Screwtape is devious, and I am surprised Augustine landed in the Truth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was a bit younger, I spent about a year riding the freight-trains like a hobo, and hitch-hiking all around this spectacular country we call the United States. Had some fantastic times during that trip!
