Hey! I'm Chris and I am from an island in the Caribbean called Bonaire! If that doesn't ring a bell then maybe you've heard of Curacao or Aruba?! It is a small island and is known for it's pristine underwater life and well preserved nature. We speak four languages English, Spanish, Dutch and the local language Papiamentu.

I love travelling and have been travelling ever since I can remember. I enjoy meeting people locally whenever I am travelling and learn about the culture and language and learning about the non-touristy spots to hit!

I've tried Airbnb before and loved getting the chance to live in a more 'natural' environment compared to resorts and hotels. I've never tried couchsurfing before untul now, but I am really curious to find out how it works. I hope to get to meet local people to places I go, which is something you rarely experience if you go to hotels for example.

I want to feel like I'm actually living at the countries I visit. :)

I have diverse taste and I try to do new things whenever I can, recently I've taken up salsa classes and completed my open water diving course. I believe if you're not learning or doing something new then you're not living.
