About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Navigate the land.
ABOUT ME
Four years ago, I donated, stored or otherwise let go of most of my stuff as I moved into a small room on a farm in New Hampshire (the place, in fact, that I first couch-surfed!). Now, this is where I make my home whenever I'm not on a dredge or traveling.
I work on dredges mostly building beaches and maintaining shipping channels around the coastal US. This is mostly in the Gulf of Mexico or on the East Coast, but it has taken me to Oregon too.
The best part of the job is the traveling that it requires and allows. (I work for two weeks at a time and then I get one week off which I use to go exploring).
My current project has me working in Staten Island, NY and living in Brooklyn. I spend my time between here and New Hampshire and am currently looking forward to my next couchsurfing adventures in Rome and Sicily.
PHILOSOPHY
If there is no struggle there is no progress.
