About Me
Hey there, I'm Chris and 25 years old. I am currently studying for a bachelor's degree in business informatics and will subsequently begin my master's degree. I have been living in Munich for over 4 years now and love to travel. After high school I had spent almost two years abroad and gained incredibly great experiences and met people who enriched me on many levels. At this time I also made my first experiences with Couchsurfing.
I am currently working in a full-time position in Business Development & Sales and will soon fly to Dubai for several weeks to live and work there.
I am very interested in other cultures, extraordinary personalities, good music and good food. In general I am a very open-minded person who likes to try new things and I like to be inspired by other people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had my first experience with couchsurfing back in Sydney. I couchsurfed Mikey's place with two friends. I was so surprised by the extraordinary hospitality Mikey and his family offered us. We stayed there for over a week and felt welcome and at home at all times. I didn't want to miss this feeling on my trip in Asia, so I was able to gather some couchsurfing experiences there as well. It is just nice to find a piece of home in a foreign world. To have people around you and to dive a little bit more into the culture and way of life. To experience that there is warmth and love everywhere in this world.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to an enormous amount of music in my spare time (over 85000 minutes a year in Spotify alone). Mostly I listen to electronic music, mainly techno, breakbeat and electronica. I started buying and collecting records a couple of years ago and I'm very interested in the art of music. So I'm a bit philosophical when it comes to music and for me electronic dance music is more than just entertainment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I couchsurfed India I made an amazing experience. One evening our host took us to a nice place to hang out, with an incredible view over Jaipur. After we went to a Sadhus' place, an old Shiva Temple. We hanged out with this Sadhu for a while, smoked with his Chillum and watched a weird religious soap on TV! It was a strange but great experience! This is why couchsurfing is amazing, you can do things you never could do without local people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
In general I like to exchange information with people about all kinds of things. I like to talk freely and objectively about different topics and also to try to think into other opinions.
