ABOUT ME

After finishing college, I decided to ride my bicycle from Paris to Shanghai. It took almost two years, pedaling 16,000 miles through 23 countries. I did some writing along the way, learned a thing or two about journalism, and had everything I thought I knew about the world challenged and changed. I guess you can say people and their stories are now my career. I'm a widely published freelance writer, and I'm always looking for opportunities to balance new perspectives with my own. Currently I staff write for the Denver Westword. My portfolio is at www.chrisallanwalker.com

I love good conversation, and always want to hear about people's backgrounds. I am an admitted nature freak, but also do the city thing. Denver, Colorado is my home. I enjoy showing it off to visitors when I can.
