Hey! ¡Hola! Γειά! My name is Christos and I’m from a beautiful country named Greece! I’m a PhD student in the field of cyber security (computers and stuff), I play soccer (soccer is life!), I’m learning how to play the guitar, and I like being active in general (running, hiking, traveling of any kind). I really enjoy being surrounded by nature and go free camping every year. As a person I would say I'm very calm, easy-going, and agreeable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I just love traveling and meeting people from around the world and am hoping that I will make some new friends in the process. :) Meeting people from foreign lands amazes me because I get to hear and learn all kinds of new stuff that I would never hear in an authentic way about otherwise. I'm on Couchsurfing also because I believe in hospitality which is also a traditional trait here in Greece.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ok, I'm gonna write what comes to mind right now.

Music: Black Sabbath with Ozzy first and foremost.- After that, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Stooges, Amenra, Morphine, Depeche Mode, and the greek traditional music called Rebetika.

Movies: Fight Club, American History X, Pulp Fiction, and Soul Kitchen. I love most Jarmusch movies. I'm also a big fan of Star Wars.

Books: "The unbearable lightness of being", "On the road", "Even cowgirls get the blues", "The trial", and "Waking Up: A guide to spirituality without religion"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say traveling to Peru for 2 months. Which included a 5-day trek to Macchu Picchu, a 4-week Workaway volunteering programme, a motorcycles journey, a 5-day roadtrip and many many more amazing experiences and of course amazing people.

I can teach Greek as a native speaker. I would love to learn some more Spanish and anything I can do with my hands.
