Overview
About Me
Coming from the beautiful island of Crete, Greece, but with an international heart. Lived in the Netherlands where I got to meet people from all around the globe... honestly a very interesting life experience! I work in the computer science domain, as an AI scientist, but don't let that fool you...my real passions are everywhere else :D
Dancing (bachata, salsa, lindy hop, Greek dances...you name it), hiking, running, swimming, cinema, photography, philosophy talks over wine... I'm basically up for anything. If you're around, I'll take you to places you won't find in any guidebook...hidden beaches, mountain trails, whatever you're up for. Things here have a way of turning into an adventure :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I lived abroad and that's when I realized how much I enjoy connecting with people from different cultural backgrounds. You meet someone, end up talking for hours about stuff you never expected, and suddenly you have a friend in some country you've never been to. Some of my best stories started with a random coffee or beer with someone I didn't know the day before. I want to keep that going, whether I'm hosting or traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Like almost every kind of music with a special preference to reggae dub, world music and stoner rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For me the most amazing things always happen when traveling. Not the destinations themselves but the random stuff in between...the conversations, the wrong turns, the people you'd never meet otherwise. That's the real trip!
Teach, Learn, Share
This could be related with mutual interests between me and other couchsurfers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My time, my local knowledge, and probably too much food and drinks. I know this island well and love showing people the side of it that tourists miss...hidden beaches, mountain trails, random tavernas in the middle of nowhere. If you're into dancing I might drag you along to a Latin dancing session too :)
