Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION: Exploring Sweden and Scandinavia
ABOUT ME:
I think the word "epicure" is a fairly good description for my personality. There's a lot of things I enjoy: Travelling, good company, food from all over the world, good coffee, good wine, science, books, movies, a variety of different music styles and many, many more things...
PHILOSOPHY:
Life is too short for bad holidays!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I do both with great pleasure: surfing AND hosting!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've already done both, surfing and hosting and so far, I've only had good experiences.
During surfing I always learned a lot about the local cultures - much more than you'd learn as an "average" tourist! And I met a whole lot of great people!!!
At the moment, hosting people will be a bit difficult, since I'm on an exchange in Sweden. But you can try nevertheless!
Interests
Cooking and eating, sports (mostly table tennis, but also others), international politics, travelling, music, photography, learning languages, playing table tennis, movies and books (does this list have to come to an end?)

Music, Movies, and Books
Something to find out, when you're hosting me or staying at my place!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walked 50 km during the night...
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: The languages I speak (especially Swiss German, which is a quite funny language), Cooking (what about some Swiss or Greek dishes?), Table Tennis (at least the fundamentals)
Learn: I'm always curious to learn about new cultures and I love learning languages, so teach me yours!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Definitely my cooking skills (if you trust in them). For me it's almost an unwritten law that a surfer cooks for his host (at least once) or that we cook together, which is even more fun!
Languages: I'm glad to teach you some words of German, French or Greek, but I'm also always open to catch up some bits of a new language.
Travel experiences: I'm curious about yours and gladly share mine!
Time: The most appealing thing about couchsurfing is for me that one can spend time with somebody, whom otherwise one would never ever encouter and that out of those encouters there might even grow friendships. That's what distinguishes in my opinion couchsurfing from other "styles" of travelling.
