I'm originally from Seattle, USA and have lived in Portugal since 2019. I'm a former Airbnb Super Host and currently own a small eco-tourism resort with 4 cabins. The Mermaid Retreat is near the ocean in a virgin Cork Oak tree forest in rural Portugal.

I have 3 dogs to keep things lively and a large garden full of vegetables. I love to cook for my guests using our natural ingredients.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel often to visit friends and family. It's sometimes easier for everyone if I stay nearby - especially while they're working during the day. My needs are simple - a comfy bed, wifi + a quick shower. I'm social, yet quiet, and don't smoke.
