Travel is what i live for. It really is as simple as that. Books are my passion, always have been. I enjoy being outside and doing things, as well as being curled up inside watching a movie and plotting my next move. If i had a super power it would be teleportation most likely. If i was stuck on an island books and cereal would definitely be going with me. I really like animals, art, and other basic, normal activities (because i am not a crazy person who has been living in a cave all my life.) I am an open book and don't believe in subtlety or letting questions or opportunities just slide by.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has always gotten my attention. I have heard good things about it and believe in the power it has to bring like minded souls together. It seems like a good chance to broaden my world by exploring others. I am all for branching out and experiencing new things and meeting new people and it seems like couchsurfing can help with that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big believer in the power of a well told story. Movies: Shawshank Redemption, The Abyss, True Romance, all of the Indiana Jones (to name a few). Books: Shantaram (gregory david roberts), Lamb (christopher moore), A Woman Of The World (genie chipps henderson), anything by Robert Young Pelton, etc. . . . . Music: really into Imagine Dragons, still like Fall Out Boy and One Republic, rock out to a lot of 90's music still (i am a 90's child after all). Can get into a bit of nearly every genre for the most part.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked the El Camino in Spain. This may not seem amazing to some but if you knew me better you would think otherwise. If it still isn't, then i am certified to be an ESL teacher, which (if you knew me) would also be pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think all three are important. I'm open to learning anything and everything i can. I enjoy it too much to let an opportunity pass me by. I can share my time and interests. I am an excellent conversationalist (a dying art I'm finding). I enjoy listening and prefer to keep an open mind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am not afraid to pitch in and help out. I don't mind cooking (though i am far from chef material), doing laundry or helping in the yard. I like animals (i can walk your dog for you when you are too tired). Basically, i am of the personality to help and please others and therefore would be okay with doing whatever might help you out. You are doing something incredibly kind for me, therefore it's the least i can do to offer the same courtesy.
