About Me

Hi everyone :)
I'm Christina, was born in Paris, love my home country but can't resist to travel and discover new places, meet new people and share experience around the world. I've done several internships abroad in chemistry during my studies so I could work and study on and travel at the same time !
I've been to a lot of places in Europe, Russia, China, the US...and I can't wait to discover more of our wonderful world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The amazing thing about couchsurfing is to link with people. whenever I travel, I try to visit friends and share amzing moments with them, instead of following touristic paths. My friends are always welcome in paris at my place too and I'm looking forward to linking with new people all around the world and begin new friendships !

Music, Movies, and Books

Very difficult question ^^

Probably jazz/blues music + random stuff like Fragile by Sting, dire straits by sultan swing... Queen is one of my favorite groups also. And I love old vinyle discs and have started a collection.
Film musics by Hans Zimmer/Tennessee Williams/Ennio Morricone are great too !!!

Not sure if it's my favorite but I like it a lot: Night in Earth. It's the story of 5 different taxi drivers around the world in various situations. The last story made me cry...

Poetry books: I specially like Mascha Kaléko Die paar leuchtenden Jahre (in German) & Rimbaud anthology (in French)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my internship at UC Berkeley in California, I discovered an amazing sailing and windsurfing club at Berkeley Marina: it's a non profit volunteering club I highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn and share about sea experience. Plus I've met awesome people from all the world, shared a lot with them, begun great friendships and experienced an unforgettable sailing and windsurfing season ! I was hanging around every day after my internship, cooking, windsurfing, enjoying the sunset, playing ping pong: I've never felt so lively in my entire life before !!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching languages or some water stuff like fishing, sailing, board repairing...I'd also like to learn more about these :)

I'm very interested also in green energies (if I can bring something with my chemical background, I've love that too) and developing solutions to provide sustainable energy at low cost of for free

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to try and share anything with my two hands and my head...so just ask me and we'll figure out together what we can do :)
