About Me

Hey.

I'm a social worker and psychology student living in northern California.

I am with a wonderful girl named Betty. In for the long run. https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/b_betty

Passion driven spiritual person, injustice makes me mad.

I love exploring alternative ways of living society and community. I have a bit of experience with living in community and know my fair share of how hard that can be. I'm trying to learn more about how people live and work together.

Outdoor and wilderness loving, getting out there as much as possible.

Walking into every second-hand bookstore I come across, buying more books than I actually read.

Cooking, not as often on fire as I'd like, but still cooking a lot. Mostly vegan, but violating my own ethics because I'm weak at times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and share different idea on whatever challenges someones mind. Learning more about other cultures and religions works best by interacting with people. You can read all the books you want, (and you should!) but it will never be the same as having a honest conversation with someone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read mostly non-fiction and biographys, listen to all kinds of music and enjoy weird movies and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A fellow couchsurfer, rabbi who's older than my parents, invited me to meet the people of the neighboring mosque. A memorable encounter.

Teach, Learn, Share

Go visit the community in Taizé, in the middle of france, if you can. This is something you should discover.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my perspective on things, a honest conversation about things that matter. I think I'm an easy going and fun to be around-person. I try to be. Love to cook curry and learn about new recipes. I hope I can teach you a few and learn from you.
