About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get in touch with new people from interesting places.

ABOUT ME

I have been living in different countries. Germany, Zürich-CH, Mexico and since 2004 in Spain. So finally I choose Madrid as home base.

PHILOSOPHY

Always take a towel with you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Its hard to describe oneself. Basically I am interested in other cultures, languages and have a lot of curiosity. I am social but also able to spend time on my own. I would like to see more of the world as I have seen by now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend of mine started to offer his couch two years ago. Some of the Couchsurfer joined us on going out and in generall we had a lot of fun. Sometimes we were cooking together and I started with a list of nacional recipes.

Interests

OK here comes the list. I am interested in Sports (Acrobatics, Volleyball, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Skiing, Swimming, etc). I like cooking a lot. If I have to chose between museum of arts or history I would choose history. Maybe with some exeptions (e.g. Dali, Sculpture)

Music, Movies, and Books

Last book I didn't finish (Mario Vargas Llosa "el Celta" till page 220)
Last book I finished (David Nicholls "One day")
Last Comic (Hergé "Tintin au Congo")

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was born more than one time. Its amazing that I call another place my home thats not my home country. Besides I did some crazy stuff but I keep that for my grandchildren to give them bad ideas what they can do to bother their parents.

Teach, Learn, Share

I work as a teacher but I dont feel the need to teach languages in my free time. I am more the down to earth type. Spritual a bit but not esoterical. I don't like to be missioned by people who think they found an universial truth that has to be the same for anyone. I like every theory, philosophy or religion that makes this world a better place. Its fine for me if you are a creationist and deny Darwin as long as you let me believe in the SpaghettiMonster that lives on the other side of the Moon ;)
