After a fun adventure traveling with kids, I have learned that I truly love meeting people from other countries! We were blessed to meet some interesting people who helped us see beyond the hatred the media perpetuates.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We started with couchsurfing as a way to possibly meet people and stay in their homes when we took a month long pilgrimage in Europe. Instead, we hosted at home but never found a place for our family during our travels. C'est la vie!

Now, I'm staying on to maybe host and maybe for a future travel adventure.

Interests

We have many, many interests. Sadly, we rarely have time to pursue our interests. When we can we go to the beach, fishing, watch a lot of movies on Netflix, go to the park, museums, hiking...you know, stuff. We do stuff. We like stuff. And we pray.

Again, varied interests. I think the only type of music I don't like is death metal and country.

One amazing thing? I've given birth to four beautiful children. Nothing is more amazing than that.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, learn, share....is this supposed to be multiple choice? I am always teaching. I have been a Catechist for 14 years. I've had to continually learn and share my faith.

We want to learn more about history and culture.

We are willing to share the gifts and talents we have with others. Even if it's just being with someone because they're lonely and need companionship.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I guess the number one thing we can share with hosts is a love of life. Friendship. And, maybe along the way we can share our travel experiences. I enjoy deep conversation and I can be down right funny when the mood hits me.
