ABOUT ME

Hi, I am Chris, from the Netherlands. I have studied in Adelaide in 2011 and went back to the Netherlands for about 3 years. I really missed Australia as soon as I hit the Dutch tarmac, so here I am, back in Australia, hopefully for good.
I am really keen on meeting new people and get a new life going here, so send me a message!
At the moment I don't have a couch to surf, but that will change soon.

Some of my favorite things in the world:
scuba diving!!! Baking (yeah, if you surf my couch in the future you'll be likely to eat lots of yummy stuff); reading, music (guitar, vocals, piano), surfing (I suck, but want to learn), arts and of course travelling

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm always in for a cup of coffee and a citytour, and as soon as I get my own place sorted, you can stay overnight as well. I might help you out by occupying your couch, if you let me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed two couches, the House Hayward couch in Fredericton and with Rosie in Adelaide. Though the couch in Fredericton was 'ouch', the people were really nice!! And I had a blast with Rosie.
A while ago there were two amazing girls surfing my couch, we stayed in touch afterwards and we became close friends.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The Philippines have stolen my heart.. the amazing reefs, the wonderful people... I'm going back there soon, fortunately!
My holidays in New Zealand and Indonesia were fantastic, amazing nature, animals and people!! In Canada I also loved the nature and the space, but also the big city Toronto! Sweden and Norway still have the best lakes and mountains, no country can beat that! (although Canada is real close in rate). Borneo was awesome, especially the diving around there is great. At the moment I am exploring Australia and I love it, the people, the culture, the country..!
