I'm Chrisi, half German, half Greek, originally from Frankfurt. I'm back in town after working and living in Charlotte, NC, USA for almost a year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to the couchsurfing community, haven't hosted yet or stayed at someone's place, but met some nice people from the couchsurfing community while traveling in Canada and Switzerland and also here in Frankfurt.

I like movies, traveling, reading, going out with friends, singing (I sang in a band and in several choires, also took singing lessons, but love karaoke, too!), swimming, foreign cultures and languages, ...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: There's no such thing as a favorite movie for me, there are far too many good movies. I like (romantic) comedies like "When Harry met Sally" and the old dance movies like "Fame", "Grease", "Footloose", "A Chorus Line", etc. Also thrillers, crime stories and sometimes also action or SciFi or fantasy movies like the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy or the Harry Potter movies.

Music: I like Pop, Rock, HipHop, R'n'B, Soul, Swing, Greek music, Latin music, Muscial, sometimes also opera and classical music ... it depends on my mood. Some of my favorite singers are George Michael, Celine Dion, Lionel Richie, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Pink, Christina Aguilera ... but I also like bands like Weezer, K's Choice, The Cranberries, No Doubt, etc. What I don't like is Techno or any other electronic music that doesn't even have a melody.

Books: I love crime novels and thrillers, e.g. from Agatha Christie, Dan Brown, John Grisham, Henning Mankell, and books that make me laugh.
