Hello! My name is Chuan: you will get it if you try saying [chew-on] very quickly. I spent half of my life in Wuhan, China where I was born, and the other half growing up in Vancouver, Canada. I am taking a gap year during my undergraduate degree and my current destination is Europe. It's the first time that I am traveling solo and there is so much to be discovered!!

I'm taking this time to work on my Spanish, being more socially and environmentally responsible, extending kindness and gratitude, and being a more informed citizen of the world... one travel step at a time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the rich sights, culture, and history of new places but I think it is the human connections that leave a place more memorable than ever. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a small community in Mexico for four months. I was able to help in five house builds that gave families who previously lived in houses made of cardboard and plastic a more comfortable and secure place to call home.
