CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is quite simple. During my stay as a student in Germany, I plan to travel around Europe by biking.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Chuan-Yi, here is a few thing you might need to know. (sounds familiar huh?)

I'm deeply in love with landscapes, I would like to see every single corner on our earth as much as I can.(architectures are great, natural views are perfect) That's why I used to travel with bike. I think we lost things on the way when moving with other vehicles.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a new comer of CS and will be only surfing in the beginning. But just by searching the reviews, comments on CouchSurfing, I found here a sweet place where people can share things with people of different background.

Movie is my favorite entertainment, so is american drama. My beloved "Chuch" just ended, which really made me sad...

I enjoy running and have done many half-marathons. I'll do Berlin Marathon, my first marathon, this year(2012) and maybe Köln Marathon also. My goal is to finish it in 4 hours. I swim but not a lot. If my capacity of standing coldness strengthen, I would consider of training myself for the triathlon. Germany is so cold that I don't even want to touch the water(But I love snow, there is no snow in my hometown. This is so contradictory...)

Well, mostly I read Chinese books which I don't know if the English(or other languages)translation exist or not. I enjoy historical books.

I especially like to watch those movies that would trigger the deepest thought in your mind, for example, American Beauty, Se7en and more. Happy ending is ok, but I prefer meaningful ones. The IMDB Top 250s are now my pocket list.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was in Australia six years ago. The world's biggest "stone", Ayers Rock, was really a shock and impressive to me. I also missed Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park a lot. Some day later I will be there again, I am pretty sure.
