I'm an ex military officer and doctor working in langkawi. After work, I'm mostly at the beach, the gym, and/or listening to live music. I'm still exploring the island for local food and its surroundings for great picnic spots, and you could help me find them.

I don't drink alcohol but have no problems going to bars/pubs and with people that choose to drink, within reason.

I have also mastered the art of being still, i.e., doing absolutely nothing preferably with a great view in front of me, which are plenty on this island.

I have political opinions but don't share them unless asked and open-minded (and mature enough) to respect differences. I will not hate anyone for having different views (within means) and welcome it.

I'm a stickler for cleanliness and personal hygiene. Please also check your body odour and footwear odour. Don't stink up the house and car.

If you're on a tight budget and can't afford to pay for yourself at certain restaurants or for other sightseeing activities, eg boat rides, etc, let me know in advance, and we don't have to do it.

I normally respond to messages and request promptly and usually prefer to communicate by WhatsApp. If you don't reply to my message in a timely manner, I will not either.

I may not be able to spend much time with you, especially during office hours, because I'm actively working but be assured when I'm free ill drive you around the island to check out some cool spots and meet some cool locals.

Otherwise, I'm laid back, very easygoing, have a good sense of humour, and oftentimes politically incorrect, so if our energies clash, you'll know for sure.
