ABOUT ME

We both love traveling and meeting other folks along the way. We used CS for our first out-of-country trip to Iceland in 2012 and we've loved the CS community ever since. It has enriched our travels much more than we could have anticipated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host and give back to couch community. People have been extremely kind to us in the past and it's worth returning the favor. We've learned something from nearly everyone we've hosted or stayed with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My wife and I have done a combination of surfing and hosting since 2012. We first heard about it from a bread baker friend who surfed France and Italy.

Interests

Camping, backpacking, hiking, archery, rock climbing, kayaking, grilling, trying new restaurants and cooking. Practically anything outdoors.

I don't keep up with music or books much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching a 100 ft geyser erupt out of the ground every 10 min in Iceland.

I can make pretzels from scratch with NaOH. I like grinding my own sausage.
