Generally, I like meeting people. I'm interested in hearing stories, real or made up for entertainment. I think that's what life is about, writing your own story and stopping every now and then to share bits of it with others.
I like cooking, making useful things out of junk, and laughing about anything, really.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In China:
In the past, my friends and I have taken people out and around town to some good restaurants and great bars... but now I am surfing around a bit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There was this one time in university when I was homeless, that's how I met my friends. I was their resident couch muppet.
I guess good things have come from the gypsies, tramps and thieves who've lodged with us in China.
All in all, I think this is a lovely little support network based on trust and sharing.

Climbing huge rocks in YangShuo, China. Kayaking in a swarm of jellyfish in TonSai, Thailand. Walking alone with a monkey in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Singing in the torrential rain during the Laotian rainy season.

I can teach English. Did that for a few years. Can cook some tasty Thai and Chinese stuff, if you'd like to learn.
I can teach you how to make handmade silver rings using just an old quarter some files, a hammer, and a drill. Or a terrarrium if you live close to a forest.
