About Me
ABOUT ME
Adventurous and Quiet. Was in the United States Marines for five years. Has lived in more states than I can count. Went on two tours two Iraq for operation Iraqi freedom during 2005 and 2007. Is an aspiring author, currently working on a fantasy novel and a non-fiction Christian Living novel. Has an unnatural, unreasonable, explainable fear of trying new foods (maybe I was scarred as a kid. haha). Loves anything outdoors, especially involving water. I like hiking but I LOVE hiking when it involves a river or waterfall. Would love to get certified as a sky-diver and scuba diver. Has been in love with Japan since I was a little kid. I always wanted to grow up and be a Samurai. Currently an English teacher at a private Japanese High School and Junior High School. Loves exploring and experiencing new places. Also loves everything fitness. One of my dreams would be to open a Crossfit gym.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share with you good American southern cooking, a beautiful view of Kyoto City from our sixth story apartment. Ican also provide you with a futon and some floor space to sleep on.
I lived near Aminohashidate (1 of 3 of Japan's most scenic views) for a year. So, if you are interested in that, we can provide a day tour of that area. I just ask that you cover travel expenses as tour guides if you wanted me to take you there. (It`s about a 3 hour train ride north of Kyoto)
