About Me

I love travelling! I've done a lot of it over the last 10 years. People and the experiences I have with locals and other travellers are what keep me wanting to explore other parts of the globe. I'm an inquisitive scientist by career as well as by nature. And love having people to share my adventures with!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing to meet locals in the places I travel to so I can really get to know a city and find those awesome nooks and crannies that you only get to through building relationships with people in the places you go :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked in the Galapagos Islands for 6 weeks, living in a tent on an uninhabited island with one other person studying the native Santiago rice rat, and the cactus it eats!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a science nerd! Biology, ecology to be exact. I know a lot about bees, other insects and plants in particular. I also create art programmes for at risk youth (or those kids yet to reach their potential, with leadership qualities as I like to call them). Surfed for 18years. Can give lessons to the keen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a reasonable cook especially if your vegetarian or love seafood. I'm pretty much bilingual in Spanish and I love to be part of the community/family/house/life of wherever i'm staying.
