ABOUT ME

I'm a carpenter with a passion for renovating historic houses. When I'm not swinging a hammer I love reading and listening to music, preferably outdoors and with a glass of something delicious. I'm several feet tall, an even number of inches wide, and am house-broken.

PHILOSOPHY

The easiest way to explain this is through the words of people who are more eloquent that I could ever be:

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I try to be amazed by everything around me (because seriously, it's all pretty ridiculous) but this can be tiring. Most of the amazing things i've done have been on a whim, like spending a week traveling through Cuba, or moving from Toronto out to California, but the thing that came to mind first was the night that I tried to get my friend's dog to enjoy a sunset. This experiment failed spectacularly and I later remembered that dogs are, in fact, color blind and probably have difficulty enjoying the universe showing off all the colors it knows. Still, it was a fun evening.
