I design and make glass and metal art with my lovely wife. We travel the US participating in art fairs as well as looking and absorbing our surroundings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We do a lot of traveling and have found CS way more fun and interesting than soulless hotel rooms.  Everybody we have met through CSing has an interesting story and are good people.  Deana and I get a kick out of how many we have hosted since August 2011, when we signed up, here in little ol Bald Creek.  This idea of people to people travel is a good one.  We have been spreading the word in our travels about the site and how it works, encouraging others to get involved.

Interests

We have a wide and free ranging set of interests, ranging from gardening, reading, making stuff other than our primary art expression, travel, and so on.  I'm sure we can find something interesting to talk about, it's not all that hard to do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Copan De Ruinas took my breath away when we were in Honduras. Just about any cathedral in Europe makes me weep with all the beauty and art that abounds.
