Overview
About Me
Although I'm an engineer / entrepreneus, I try to find and create the beauty and art in the complex and logical world of engineering. Music is very important for me in this aspect and I cannot think a life without it. I also enjoy latin dancing (salsa, bachata, kizomba) and try to catch festivals and workshops around the world.
I'm a nerdish but outgoing ENTP type person. I strive for the honesty, understanding, and expression in general; and can be seen as a free thinker.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet exiting people, to learn, to share, and live the life as a citizen of the earth.
Interests
I enjoy playing my guitars and doing some recording; but the greatest joy is to play in a rock band at a historical local venue. I am always excited to learn new things and skills; and have an intense curiosity that drives me to learn just how 'things' work.
I like to play and watch tennis. I can enjoy and up for many kinds of games from puzzles and board games to bowling and surfing.
I follow developments in science, technology, space and computers. Not too much into geek culture, but I can solve a rubik's cube in about a minute haha :P .
I also like travelling, occasional partying / clubbing, driving, having deep discussions, and also having fun in general.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Anything with good cinematography or excellent music. I can enjoy the blockbuster or an obscure south Korean art house film at the same time :=)
Music: It is how you feel you are alive. I prefer rock/metal, rnb, and house music in general. I also listen to some jazz, classical, ethnic, indie stuff. I have favourites from nearly every genre and try to collect good music.
Books: I prefer philosphical, technical, or educational books. I enjoy hard sci-fi, but also some classical literature (Dostoyevski is a fave). I like fiction with honest, complex, and intelligent characters.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Having cheap wine and home made sandwiches and guitar on the grass at night across the Eiffel tower with a great group of local young couples and friends...
