Overview
About Me
I love music, theatre, poetry. Nikul plays in a band and apart from the guitar, he also plays the trumpet and some basic accordeon. We are both working Mon-Fri and we wish to travel as much as we can during our limited yearly leave. We started living together and we are planning to furnish the other room in the apartment so hopefully will be able to host soon. I am honest and I try to be open-hearted. Travelling gives me a broader perspective to life and I'm always curious how other people experience life through their trajectory.
I believe that people should care for other people's dignity. I try to carefully choose my words and keep the positive approach towards everyone.
Nikul will also add some words about himself later on.
I registered long time ago, but haven't really used my account in Couchsurfing so far although I have always liked the idea of sharing one's place with movers and travellers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven't yet hosted anyone except for a colleague from my university who lives abroad and my friends when too tired to go home. I can't say that I've traveled much since I was a kid, but have been trying to change that lately. It's nice to recall this strange feeling of meeting the unknown. I would like to visit places and experience them through a local point of view. I believe that one hasn't truly experienced a foreign place if he/she hasn't personally met its people. Or eaten its food. That's why I think cooking for one's host/guest adds a great value. Through the cuisine people get to interact better and get a better understanding of the culture.
Interests
We like to spend time in the nature and we go skiing a lot.
I've tried wind-surfing and liked it a lot. Nikul is willing to go diving.
I teach English to kids in my free time and Nikul plays with his band.
We enjoy attending concerts and music festivals.
We've been recently learning Bulgarian folklore dance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
still to come...
Teach, Learn, Share
Nikul - The processes of teaching and learning always involve sharing and it's equally beneficial for both sides.
Lidia - We are learning something from someone who has learned it from someone else while others learn from us and teach others and that's the invisible (....) that links humanity together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
For the moment we have a spare room, but still don't have furniture. Hope to be able to host soon. :)
