ABOUT ME

I'm currently on a 6 month trip around the western hemisphere, I've had my fill of hostels during this trip and would like to experience something different!

I will be traveling through Europe for the next 3 months on an Eurail pass. I have no set plans, just destinations I would like to be, cultures I would like to experience.

I am easy to get along with, open to new experiences and meeting new people and making them laugh. I am absolutely useless with languages (after traveling South America for 2 months, the only spanish phrase that stuck was "un cerveza por favor!"), but I manage to get by using charades or elaborate diagrams.

PHILOSOPHY

I have no personal philosophy, I might have at one stage in my life, but now I just take each day as it comes I've learned that if things aren't going well, just leave it all behind and go traveling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am traveling, so am currently couch-less. Depending on my experience over the next 3 months of attempting to couch surf I guess I would be more open to hosting fellow couch surfers in my home!

None what-so-ever, good recommendations by many travelers met on the road led me to try this!

Life of Pi (the book), Lord of the Rings, The Game of Thrones, any of the Terry Pratchett Discworld novels.

I love all kinds of music, from hip hop and R&B to indie and alt rock.

Movies are a great way to unwind after a hard day at work, as such I've seen a great many of them! I have no specific tastes when it comes to movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked the Inca Trail to Maachu Picchu, set foot on Antarctica, Hiked in Mt Everest national park, Full Moon Party in Thailand, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the Taj Mahal and Amber Fort in India, the best seafood ever in Goa and Kerala! drunken gambling in Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Times Square and the Empire State Building, Snowboarding on Xmas in Lake Louise... the list goes on!
