About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to save up some money to get on the move again!

ABOUT ME

Hello! I have just come back from a year of travelling around and am about to go back into work. Boo! At the moment I am just settling back into "normal life".

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy! Smile as much as possible and you'll find yourself a much happier person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would now like to return the kindness I recieved whilst surfing with people on my travels by hosting and hopefully making people feel very welcome. I enjoy going to CS meeting's and arranging them too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Over the last year I have CS'd with lots of people in USA, Japan and Sri Lanka and it has been a wonderful experience. I have hosted a CS meeting in Colombo, Sri Lanka along with my friend. I have been sharing a CS profile with my friend (username: sunnygaybraham) but now we have gone seperate ways so it's time to make my own.

Interests

I used to play for a football (soccer) team before I left and am looking to get back into it. I spend a fair bit of time playing computer games, sorry I am a bit of a geek. I like spending time in parks and in London, doing "free days out" that used to be in the paper called "Metro". Unfortunately these papers have been taken away by the government! Otherwise, the usual, reading, movies, music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Japan I hitch-hiked around and it was the best experience of my life. Also seeing Mt Fuji was wonderful and next time I go back I shall climb you Fuji-san!
Burning Man Festival was interesting, for many reasons and they're always hard to actually describe.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I have owned a guitar for a few years now and I have learnt to play a couple of songs but I'm still very much at the starting point. I also own a drum kit, but can't play that properly either so to learn those two things would be great. I spent 3 months in Japan last year and picked up a little of the language and really want to continue to study Japanese.
In terms of what I can teach... I guess if someone wanted to know how to play football (soccer) I could give you a few pointers.
