Overview
About Me
I am currently an international master’s student in the UK, originally from Taiwan. I have loving parents and two caring older sisters. My favorite sport is badminton, and I’m part of the University of Birmingham team squad.
My friends always describe me as:
#Altruism-influencer
I proactively share my life through my Instagram business account. When I was in Asia, I never heard of “Couchsurfing.” Now, I hope to be someone who bridges that information gap — letting more people know about it and encouraging them to try things they’ve never imagined. You never know how far you’ll go.

#Goal-oriented
If you really want to achieve a goal, the whole world will unite to help you. I always set goals in every aspect of my life — maybe that’s why I’ve crossed half the Earth to study by myself. I believe I can become my future self: a social influencer and career consultant who spreads positive energy to inspire others.
#Listener-explorer
I’m like a sponge — I always listen to my friends, family, or even strangers. I believe in the heart-warming side of the world, even during tough times. I love stories (and Instagram stories!). When people share their experiences, I often think, “Wow, this person has gone through so much — that’s incredible.”
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I once joined a working holiday on a small island in Taiwan, for one month at a freediving hostel. I listened to their stories, watched the galaxy at night, drank beer, and had BBQ with them — laughing, crying, and sharing. That was the moment I realized the world is so much bigger than I imagined. Time is limited, and I want to connect with local people while I’m young!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I decided to go around Taiwan by motorcycle by myself for 7 days!! It was one of the craziest decisions I made when I was 21. After hearing an inspiring speaker share her experience of climbing Mt. Everest — how hard it was, how far she went, and what obstacles she faced — I was deeply impressed. One quote she said really resonated with me: “You don’t have to be perfect to start. You start to become perfect.”
That sentence hit me so hard that I just put on my helmet and started my own new chapter. I ignored the risks, just to watch the sunrise every morning no matter how tired I was. I could ride 40 km just to see the sea. I didn’t have an exact direction, didn’t use Google Maps — I trusted my intuition. It was crazy, right!!!! but it was one of the best experiences of my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
If you are interested in Mandarin and badminton skills, I am willing to teach! If you want more of a challenge, I can also teach you how to write traditional Chinese handwriting — it’s really fun!
I’ve always wanted to learn cooking and improve my driving skills. If there’s a chance to learn some local dishes, I’d love that!
And if you’re interested in Asia (especially Japan or Taiwan) — whether it’s politics, culture, or tourism — I’d be happy to share everything I know!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can tell funny or scary stories from my working holiday experience, hah, or share the quotes and moments that completely changed my life.
I can talk about my passion for motorcycle travel, my short-term goals, and my lifelong dreams. I love deep conversations — the kind that make you think, laugh, and feel inspired.
