Hello fellow travelers. First things first, if you're wondering how to pronounce my name, it's pronounced exactly the way it's spelled. Don't let the long first name fool you.

I'm currently an English Teacher in South Korea. I have lived here over a year now. I am originally from the good ol' Golden State, aka California, in the United States. I have also spent a part of my early life in Canada (born and then moved to the states at 9).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I have yet to use couchsurfing myself for travels, I am open to meeting new people and travelers coming my way. Traveling and making new connections is a beautiful thing to accomplish, thus, I am here!

Interests

I love to travel (why else would I be here, hahah), and I love to hear about places people have traveled or come from.
The thing I love to do as of recently is find new restaurants to try whether Korean or not. Fun thing about living abroad is eating out at more restaurants due to sheer curiosity. I am a huge foodie, like the rest of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Hip Hop/Rap, R&B, Jazz & K-Pop tend to be my most listened to, but I am a fan of all music.

Movies: I am a movie buff. The movie theaters are my second home. Most favorite movies are Disney

Books: I am a bigger fan of fantasy series, i.e. Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, etc. Although, I also love books with romance and books that are empowering to readers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Definitely the most amazing thing I've done recently is moving and teaching English abroad. I have made tons of lifelong friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, if you're a visitor wanting to learn more about Korean culture and the language, I might be the person for you! As a current language learner, I am already able to communicate on a fairly casual level with many of my fellow Korean teachers (non-English teachers), and have learned a lot from them that I am happy to share with you. I've also got great, funny and silly stories of my own students. Be prepared for those! I love my students and love to tell stories about them. If you just need someone to help you as a guide, I can do that too.
I am also someone who can teach you things about the U.S.A. and some Indian culture.
I'd love to learn more about where you come from, and even if you're from the states, all the more to learn! I still have yet to visit other states and will do so when I return from living abroad.
