About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life and learn.

ABOUT ME

I just got an Anthropology MA so I am kind of brainwashed. I really am obsessed with archaeology and research.

PHILOSOPHY

Stay patient. Keep on moving.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participated in CouchSurfing back in 2009 and I have been caught up in work and research for the past couple of years. Trying to re-integrate into this awesome system.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had two CouchSurfing experiences thus far and both were fantastic (one in British Columbia, the other in Washington)! I can only hope that future experiences are equally as great.

Interests

Archaeology, cultural anthropology, history, other academic-type stuff. As much as I like fieldwork and traveling, I am very much into

  • traveling
  • anthropology
  • archeology
  • history

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a volcano spewing out ash through the slightest clearing in the Ecuadorian Cloud Forest, a beautiful rainforest west of Quito. I was covered in dirt and sweat, wielding a machete trying to make a space for an archaeological excavation, looked up, and saw something great.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an archaeologist, I work in the Andes. If you want some academic babble about this region of the world, just let me know.
