CURRENT MISSION

I'm finally on the road again after having spent 5 months in lovely, amazing Montreal with a w&t visa. Now it's the US and visiting friends as well as new and interesting places. Then South-America with Colombia, Bolivia and Peru and at the end hopefully another stop-over in Australia before heading home again at the beginning of next year.

ABOUT ME

Having a relatively conventional backround-school-uni-job- I decided I needed a break and took the chance to travel the world starting in Australia with a work and travel visa. Needless to say, the travel bug totally got me. I've been travelling througout the Americas for 5 months having a total blast along the way. Now it's over to Northamerica again to meet up with former fellow travellers and hopefully meeting new ones as well as those wonderful Canadians I've gotten to know during my first visit so many years ago.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing throughout Australia as well as North and South America meeting lots of great people and making friends along the way who are extremely welcome to my couch just like any other traveler who wants to check out the cosmopolitan city of Saarbrücken.

Interests

Sports totally - artistic gymnastics, running, swimming, hiking, skiing+snowboarding, surfing (when there is water nearby) and as of now also Crossfit- superfun activity
reading, photography, arts, cooking if I have to (and it usually turns out quite well), great conversations, going out and dancing till the early morning hours

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

there were so many, but surfing with dolphins in El Salvador was definitely one of the latest highlights

yes, always...I mean the learning and sharing part. Teaching... doing a handstand maybe and how to make my grandma's famous cookies

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am really not such a bad chef, so there is some German baking on offer. I could also put my degree to good use and help you get a nice workout plan - hasn't attracted many takers yet - and there are totally amazing conversations about topics such as ice cream and its nutritious value in your future. And no, none of the above is/are mutually exclusive :)
