About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy my god damn life.

ABOUT ME

I like making jokes and pushing peoples' buttons, but I'm a real softie at heart.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone and everything is kinda ridiculous, and the best you can do when faced with the absurdity of everyday life is laugh at it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to be a CS member a couple of years ago, rejoined last summer so my participation's been pretty limited. I can't host anyone currently but would be glad to show you around town/give you recommendations for stuff to do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed once in Italy. It was a great experience, and my host was extremely accomodating.

Interests

Music (I play guitar and bass, and write/record experimental/blues stuff), Comedy (I've written a few sketches and have done a couple stand-up open mics), Satire, Traveling (duh), Cars (I briefly owned a 1981 Fiat Spider convertible. It was awesome), Doodling, Biking

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Back to the Future, most Woody Allen, Bulworth, comedies mostly

Music: 60s/70s rock and roll, blues, jazz, some indie rock

Books: Catch-22's my favorite book of all time. I also like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series & Candide. When I was younger,I LOVED Kerouac. Still appreciate him. Bukowski's pretty hilarious too. David Sedaris' Me Talk Pretty One Day was great. I don't read a lot, admittedly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Zach Galifinakis randomly dropping in at a comedy open mic I was performing at in New Orleans was pretty cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a fair amount about New Orleans despite only having lived here about a year and a half and can do some basic electrical installation/repair.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Italy, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
