About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To take one trip at a time meeting as many interesting, weird and wonderful folk as possible! This year my class mate, Dave and I are looking for people to couch surf in L.A. while we are there from the 15th of June for two weeks.
ABOUT ME
I am from the highlands in Scotland, very near where The Loch Ness Monster lives! I currently live in Edinburgh and work as a graphic designer. I studied in Dundee, Scotland and in my 3rd year took an exchange in Wellington, New Zealand. I began couch surfing on my way there.
I took a myers briggs personality test today, it said that I am extraverted, intuitive, feeling and perceiving.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is what you make it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortuntely, I currently don't have a couch available but I am happy to show people about - although there are still lots of things I've still to do in Edinburgh so bonus for me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed about 3 places in California, LA and Long Beach where I met many people travelling too.
I couchsurfed a little in New Zealand too but generally only the odd night.
I have met many couch surfers in Glasgow through my travel buddy.
Interests
I love meeting new people, travelling, design, art and music.

Music, Movies, and Books
I recently saw 'across the universe', it doesn't seem well know but everyone must see it. It is a beautiful arty beatles musical.
I love so many types of music, from pop to folk and classic rock, it's so mood dependant. Some of my favourites of all time though are Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Queen, Bic Runga, Jeff Buckly (the person I would most like to bring back to life as he had so much potential), Simon and Garfunkal, Kate Rusby, Carole King, Leonard Cohen and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Hmm, I'm a bit of a slow reader. At the moment I'm reading 'cityboy' which is interesting so far. I love to flick through a decent design book too. I recently finished 'lollypop shoes' the follow up to ;chocolat' which I loved, she is a great author...if only I could remember her name.
