ABOUT ME

Well-traveled guy here in Chicago, always open to meeting new folks and excited about meeting new people through Couch Surfing.

Single gay guy living in Downtown Chicago. I just moved back to Chicago after 12 years in Boston where I did some CS hosting. However, I've lived in Italy (Perugia/Umbria) as well as Buenos Aires. At this point my Italian and marginally better Spainish get me far enough, but my regret in life is that I didn't start learning foriegn languages until I was in my 20's. Oh well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have had some wonderful guests and met some other great folks while traveling.

I generally try to fix or head out to dinner with my guests one night while they are visiting. Sometimes a tour around the city can be on offer also.

Have hosted some great folks and met up with some otherfolks overseas.

Interests

Travel, food, film, witty and/or silly conversation. I'm pretty game, just ask me! I hit tons of theatre, movies, concerts and random things around town. Fair amount of baseball and some hockey games too. I love Chicago and its amazing neighborhoods.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in a convent...but I'm not a nun.

Angor Wat in '98 was pretty amazing. India early this year was pretty fantastic too.
