About Me
I always find it really hard to describe myself but I will try.
I'm super easy-going. I like meeting new people, seeing new things and learning so couch surfing is an awesome community to get into.
I just finished university after an exchange semester in Sweden. I double majored in political science and US studies. I'm not going to be a politician though. I really have no idea what I'm going to do but I'm leaning towards grad school.
I love animals and I really enjoy trying new things. I have a few hobbies. I really like skiing, so if you want to ski in Vancouver, send me a message!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I backpacked Europe a few years ago. I met lots of really cool people at hostels and when hostels were boring, I would meet nice, interesting people on through the couchsurfing community. When I went home, it gave me an opportunity to keep a bit of traveling spirit intact even when I was miserably waiting it out until my next trip!
Interests
I love reading. I like politics but I'm not particularly partisan or opinionated. I like reading stuff about voter behaviour, party systems - stuff like that.
I really like music. I do play instruments - piano and violin. I like languages as well but I'm pretty crappy at them. I like animals a lot and if you have interesting facts about animals to share, I'm eager to learn them!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like alternative and rock music. I like reading historical books but I will generally read whatever is available. As for movies, I watch anything that is funny. I've recently started watching some of the more popular big-name movies that everyone seems to know about (the Godfather, Vertigo, etc.) and I really enjoy that. I will also watch a horror movie once in a while but it really terrifies me.
