ABOUT ME

We are a couple (28 and 31 years old), who are travelling around the world for 1 year. We like to know new places, people and cultures. I am veterinary and worked with pets clinic (dogs, cats and some birds). I love wild life. Julio worked 8 years in an airplane manufacture as development engineer in the aeronautics department. We are married since October 2008 and after some months, we left everything in Brasil and start our trip.
It is hard to define ourselves, but I can say we like to learn. Learn about what is happening around. Learn about the food and costums of the places. Learn new ways to have a better world.
We are very happy, even somethimes not showing that or smiling. We try to look for the positive side of each experience. We like outdoor activities and sports, but sometimes like relax and being lazy.

PHILOSOPHY

Always learning and also teaching, when possible. And eat as much ice cream as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We started about 2 months ago and didn`t have any experience of the coach surfing. But we want to help people when possible, giving information, indication and hosting (some day, because now we are traveling and don`t have home). We also want be hosted in different places allowing us to learn about the life style of these places.

BOOKS:
I am a very good reader. In Brazil, usually, i read about 2 or 3 books per month, but in this trip, i don't have many time to read. The last book was "The girls of Riyadh" and "Sharon and my mother-in-law".
The best book of my life (forever) is "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", Milan Kundera.

MUSIC
I love music, mainly Brazilian Music:
Mpb, bossa nova, chorinho
Classical Music: Villa-Lobos and Debussy.
and also internatinal bands, like The Beatles, The Strokes, Queen, Khrishna Dass...
