Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Teach English. learn languages and meet great people..
ABOUT ME
It is pretty hard to write about yourself but I'll try. My favourite thing to do on this earth is to sit down with a bottle of wine, some cigarettes and have a conversation. No matter who the person is.
And minus the wine and cigarettes, this is what I do as a career.
PHILOSOPHY
WWHD: What would Hemingway do
GTBG: Going to be grand.
The reality is that most people are actually really nice and the problem is that we as humans can be very closed. It should be our mission as social animals to break this filthy habit and be more generous, friendly, caring to people, and of course, embrace individualality.

Music, Movies, and Books
WHERE TO START:
Movies: I really like movies that give you insight into life and art. Like the books, I love movies with great characters who are very human. One of my favourites is The Long Goodbye directed by Robert Altman, based on one of my favourite books of the same name by Raymond Chandler. It's about a not so slick detective who bumbles his way through a winding plot. The protagonist , Philip Marlowe, is oddly the coolest man I have ever seen in cinema. It's amazing. If you have two hours to spare, please watch it.
Music: From my time in Brazil, I fell in love with bossa nova, Here in Ireland there is an amazing electronic scene so I like to dabble in that, when I am alone I like to listen to folk and singer songwriter stuff..... I basically like a bit of everything.... or at least I am open to listening to anything.
Books: Hemmingway is a beast of a writer, a hero and in some ways a prophet for me, a bit of Steinbeck never hurt a soul, all the Irish boys, like Joyce and Yeats and the modern ones. Oh and Orwell.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have walked across Spain, I have lived in the centre of Rome, I have lived in a real Brazilian neighbourhood, I have climbed huge trees, I have moved to Spain just for the fuck of it. I close myself off to no experiences. If I havn't done it and I can do it, I'll try it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I am an English teacher and I know lots about Ireland and our culture..... I can give a fairly good tour of Dublin. Also I love having fun so that part is covered.
