I was born and raised in San Francisco and am a native of the Bay Area. I have a 10 year old beagle named Missy and 4 nieces who are the loves of my life. I enjoy hiking, walking, reading, and watching movies but gardening is my passion. I also enjoy good beer (if you can see through it no thank you), sour ales and a smooth whisky (and sometimes Scotch).

During the spring/summer months my mother and I host the Clan Cian (Irish) tent at 4 local Scottish Highland Games. I was just promoted to Chieftain which I am honored to represent.

I'm also a big lover of the arts and have a membership to the de Young and the Palace of the Legion of Honor and visit at least once a month.

Elvis Costello is and always will be number one in my book. However, I love pretty much all music from acid jazz to zydeco.

Love classic movies like the Maltese Falcon. Also enjoy sci-fi (Star Wars series), drama, comedies (Mel Brooks movies, French Kiss). The only movies I don't really enjoy are scary ones although I did like the original Night of the Living Dead.

I read all the time (at least 2 books per week). I enjoy teen-fiction, sci-fi, you name it
