I am a 27 year old teacher from Melbourne, Australia. However, I am currently taking 6 months off to live in Spain and study Spanish Language. I have always had a love for the Spanish language and have spent a lot of time in South/Central America also. My hobbies include making pottery, yoga, swimming, hiking and reading. I also love nothing more than sharing food in good company, and of course coffee!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first started couch surfing as a young traveller at 18, when I retured home to Melbounre, I hosted two German girls, who ended up staying with my sister and I for 3 months! I was then off couch surfing for a long time as I wasn't in a position to host. I am now living in Spain and travelling when I have time. As I am currently learning spanish, I would really love to find hosts that are genuinely interested in chatting, and connecting and are also pacient with my language skills :)

Comencé a surfear en el sofá cuando era una joven viajera a los 18 años, cuando me retiré a casa a Melbounre, alojé a dos chicas alemanas, ¡que terminaron quedándose con mi hermana y yo durante 3 meses! Luego estuve fuera del sofá navegando durante mucho tiempo ya que no estaba en condiciones de ser el anfitrión. Ahora vivo en España y viajo cuando tengo tiempo. Como actualmente estoy aprendiendo español, me encantaría encontrar anfitriones que estén realmente interesados ​​en chatear y conectarse, y también sean conscientes de mis habilidades lingüísticas :)

I'm a fiction lover, I love anything by Tom Robbins, and unashamedly LOVE YA fiction (huge Harry Potter fan). I will happily read both classics and modern texts, and range from Poetry to non-fiction.

I don't watch a huge amounf of films, but am up for anything that is not horror/violent.

Again, my taste in music is very broad, I will listen to hiphop, soul, blues, jazz, pop, alternative...depending on my mood.

Soy un amante de la ficción, amo cualquier cosa de Tom Robbins, y descaradamente AMO la ficción YA (gran fanático de Harry Potter). Felizmente leeré textos clásicos y modernos, y voy desde Poesía hasta no ficción.

No veo una gran cantidad de películas, pero estoy preparado para cualquier cosa que no sea horror / violencia.

Nuevamente, mi gusto por la música es muy amplio, escucharé hiphop, soul, blues, jazz, pop, alternativo ... dependiendo de mi estado de ánimo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not sure I've done anything that would qualify as AMAZING, but I am very privilaged to have travelled to many beautiful places all over the world and connect with amazing people.
