I'm an introverted environmental engineer that writes poetry and loves to travel. I recycle and love to cook and bake goodies for friends. There's never enough time to read all the books on my to do list. My true state is hippie.
For the last two years, I've been living in the Philippines as a Peace Corps Volunteer helping to inform my community about improved solid waste management practices and habits. I am working with a local organic farm to improve their marketing and online social media as well as building a fish pond as a sustainable food source. I am also trying to learn Ilocano!
I love meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences. I believe that culture can be easily and sustainably shared through food and common stories of humanity. I plan to continue traveling and seeing new sites/meeting new people after I am done with my contract here. Please message me if you're in the area!

I am passionate about the environment and caring for our home. I can quote movies at sometimes inappropriate times, and I've hiked in multiple countries (sometimes getting a bit lost but always making it back to my bed for the evening).

I am a published author (poetry), and I have experience with book editing and layout. I've been baking banana bread, off and on, since I was in junior high.
