Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to learn from others and I appreciate the opportunity to see other places while building a meaningful connection.

Interests

Music is a big part of my life! I played the saxophone throughout middle and high school and started DJ'ing a few years ago. Music is such a powerful tool for storytelling and ambiance, and I love hearing new sounds and artists.
Growing up in Arizona, hiking is a big past time and I love the feeling of finishing a challenging hike!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked Solheimajökull in Iceland - such a beautiful and breathtaking experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness and left the religion in my late teens - I'm always happy to share my experiences from being immersed in that religion. I come from a Mexican-American family and love to share my family history and other cultural experiences growing up in the Southwest.
I am interested in learning from others about their cities, traditions and culture at whatever capacity they are comfortable with. I am always excited to learn to cook new foods, or to read new books!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation, book trades, can make a quick batch of cookies, and domestic chores (will gladly do all your dishes!).
