Overview
About Me
I'm an Irish student living in Paris for the year for work and study. I study literature and French in Trinity College in Dublin and in Diderot in Paris. I also work as an English language babysitter.
The reason why I'm not receiving guests is just because my apartment is truly too small! I'm living the Parisian cliche of a chambre de bonne tucked under the eaves of a Haussmanien building.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to take advantage of my time in continental Europe to travel as much as possible! (it's much harder to travel when you live on an island). But because I'm a student I can't afford expensive hostels, but I also love the idea of Couchsurfing, this year I've really learned the value of meeting people from different countries and also to gain a local's insight to a city!
Interests
I'm really interested in languages and I'm living in Paris with the intention of perfecting it, although that is still far from the case, and I'm also trying to learn Spanish and hope maybe to move to Peru in the future. I'm also interested in literature of course, and music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing that I have done is a humanitarian aid trip to Bosnia, helping to build a home for a family which was displaced due to the Bosnian war of 92-95 and visiting refugee camps. It thought we a lot about how excessive a lot of the western world is and how little we really need to survive.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my energy and endless desire to see something new, as well as a few of my stories from Paris. My favourite one is the time my friend and I accidentally mugged a man who was trying to mug us...
